Clarin College is a mixed school of 600 students and a teaching staff of 55. Since our foundation in 1968 we have strived to create a positive learning environment in which we instil in the students in our care the lifelong determination to achieve their goals.

The quality of teaching and learning was very good with some exceptional practice evident.

Support provided for students with Special Educational Needs is exceptional.
Staff are exceptionally proactive in volunteering to provide sporting and extra-curricular activities for students.
Students are very well behaved and there is good rapport between staff and students.
There is very good classroom management.
The goodwill of teaching staff and overall care of the students is obvious in all school interactions.

In 2017 our school was awarded an Erasmus+ grant of just over €80,000. This has enabled our staff to receive expert training opportunities throughout Europe. To date teachers have completed courses in areas such as mental health, literacy and ICT with many more teachers availing of training opportunities this summer.
